#Heal #Balochistan
For the past several decades, making the situation in Balochistan more complicated and critical. It needs well -integrated national efforts to clear the dirt of the past several years. The government should lead from the front. However, the problem with existing governments and legislative assemblies at the federal and provincial levels is that they do not meet the basic necessity of the legal status of the fair elected representative governments of the people. Similarly, these governments do not have public support that needs to solve complex and sensitive problems in Balochistan today. Therefore, they are obliged to seek help from the establishment, which in the past has failed miserably to handle the situation properly. The uniform is not the domain of a man to solve the social and political and economic problems. The dynamic force is not applicable to what we need, instead Balochistan needs to heal with the injuries that are imposed on us by our friends and enemies, from the inside and without it.
Historically, through the clot’s Khan’s courtyard, Balochistan decided to go with Pakistan after independence from British rule. This was in accordance with the unanimous formula of independence, in which the former royal states were given the choice of joining India or Pakistan. It is worth mentioning here that India violated the unanimous plan by affiliation with Hyderabad and Junagadh by force, and after seven decades of violation of annexation of Kashmir, continued bloodshed in the valley. In Balochistan’s historical point of view everything is clear and without any conflict. This kingdom should be in terms of historical arrangements with Afghanistan, independence from British rule and later, through a state to a state -of -the -art state, through a state affiliated with the coastal region, through a state to the Empire of Pakistan and Oman. The affairs of Balochistan are related to the rights of the people living there, the Baloch, the Pashtuns, the thousands, the minorities and the people living there. All groups are suffering for one or any other reason.
Immigrants from other provinces and migrants from India have played an important role in the development of Balochistan from the early days after independence. The people of Balochistan regret that a large number of migrants had to leave the province in the 70s due to a dispute between the federal and provincial governments. The emergence of the education system severely affected and the province has been lagging behind in the preparation of a more skilled workforce. Even today, people from other provinces are doing significant services as a skilled and non -skilled labor. Their safety and fitness should be ensured not only for the reasons of humanity and justice but also for the welfare and progress of the province. Even Balochistan should discuss schemes for highly educated and skilled professionals from other parts of the country and to serve in this province, to discuss and bring the young manpower to the pace of international standards and also discuss schemes related to other parts of the country and international locations.
Let us take a break from history and focus on the future with a solution -based approach to the path forward. Let’s highlight some important issues and their long -term solutions to make Balochistan a peaceful place, which nature will help to tap the major capabilities of it, and we need to understand that it is not only the potential of natural resources that is important. It is a human resource that should be more important for any sustainable peace and prosperity in Balochistan and Pakistan as a whole. In Balochistan, jeans and even the younger generations should see a bright future for themselves – the nation needs to build confidence in them, so no one will ever look back towards the mountains.
Let’s first adopt one of the top issues in Balochistan, which has been rarely highlighted according to its importance, this basic problem is to completely ignore the Merituki. Neither legislative assemblies are selected on merit because their merit is a popular vote, nor are the standards of merit -based choice in better education jobs and opportunities. Within Balochistan, talented people are not getting the opportunity to advance the ladder. The first obstacle to merit is the system. The people of Balochistan should be relieved of slavery of the Sardar system. In this system, it is difficult for an ordinary person to contest for elections against tribal chiefs and some of his family. Although there are exceptions in this principle. However, there is hardly any exception to the rule of seeking approval from the real rulers of Balochistan, and the money has become a factor in the process of this election. Due to the contacts of anyone in the civil administration or contacts with military officials, jobs and educational opportunities are also for the influential tribal elite. This is the case for business and it works to win contracts, even growing on the basis of illegal businesses such as smuggling, such as contacts and mutual benefits. This unclean coalition of chiefs and the establishment is taking a toll on Balochistan.
The aforementioned situation in relation to merit describes the failure of public and private sector projects and the main reason for the failure of the schemes. Therefore, whatever is available in the form of grant, NFC awards and similar shapes, it is mostly wasted and we eliminate failures in the schemes, such as 100 dams projects, dams built under dams, did not survive the floods and destroyed in a few years. The provincial government is equally responsible for the reformist measures. Otherwise we will continue to push our frustrated youth towards dangerous paths.
A fair and competitive environment for our youth in Balochistan can solve a large number of problems alone for education, work and business and can increase the instability of the province’s top potential youth. Currently, the youth of Balochistan are not satisfied with the system and likewise, it becomes the basic and easy target of false propaganda supported by our neighboring countries to create separatist mentality, but also because of our own legitimate wrongdoing. Before looking out, we should pay attention to our mistakes.
Some specific examples can help us understand the issue of injustice with Balochistan’s common folk. For example, Gwadar is the main focus of the Grand CPEC project that has brought the world attention, but unfortunately, the local population has not received the attention of our own officials. Poor fishermen continue to complain about the misuse of their traditional fishing waters, which uses illegal sub -sized nets by fishing trawlers to leave nothing for local fishermen and destroy the natural breeding system for fish. The same area around the coastal belt depends on supply from Iran from across the border. Locals are prevented from moving these necessary supplies, while fuel smugglers work independently under the eyes of security agencies. The Chaman Border tells us the same story.
The province is lagging behind in development. For example, the CPEC should have brought good investment in Balochistan for its road networks, its industry, local expertise development and so on. We fail to understand why China will not want such development in Balochistan and prefer projects elsewhere in Pakistan, which sometimes does not directly belong to the economic transit, as they do not want to give Balochistan students a legitimate number of scholarships. Our understanding is that it is not China, it is our own system which has flaws, we cannot offer plans to propose the CPEC Coordination Committee for Balochistan, the first forum where projects are selected and the Pak-China Techno-Communical experts are jointly approved by it. We could not even organize the youth from Balochistan to send the CPEC scholarship. Against this backdrop, development schemes for Balochistan are either not ending or they are behind the schedule. Establishment of industrial states is just one example, if it is preferred like other schemes across the country, it could create economic activity and create jobs in Balochistan.
Balochistan’s constitutional rights should be honored and the legitimate struggle for these rights should not be suppressed with force, which will encourage people to join the ranks of the miscreants only in their illicit activities. Moreover, the formula and suicide attack of the collective sentence, as it is called, will not bring the desired results. The role of security forces and the protocol of engagement, especially the FC, should be described on the basis of decent principles. Additional judicial disappearances and casualties will only increase the situation. The rules of engagement for security forces should be clearly stated. Security forces like FC have to make training programs for men, so that they can be introduced to cultural principles and sensitivity.
Another constitutional right in the province is related to the supply of natural gas to homes and industry, which is very small to start. Article 158 of the Constitution guarantees this right. It is an old complaint of the people of Balochistan that despite the discovery of gas in the Sui of Balochistan in the 1950s, the province did not benefit from it, while it was provided through pipelines for remote parts of the country, where people enjoy the facility for domestic use and the industry who develop this cheap energy. Balochistan has been deprived of this resources, based on the argument that the population is scattered in small centers and pipeline gas does not have commercial meaning. Well, this argument is no longer correct. Technology now has a solution in the form of virtual pipelines, which is being used all over the world, where gas is carried out in far places and commercial sense in the form of LNG. Such arrangements should be made for the cities of Balochistan, which will also encourage industrial development. Strict weather conditions such as Zahab, Ziarats, and Balats need gas for lifeline users and the environment, in such areas, people have no choice but to cut the most valuable jungle to avoid severe winter.
The Jamaat -e -Islami is committed to bringing peace and prosperity to Balochistan, and this province has been pushed forward in development and development with other provinces. In this context, we are organizing a long march from Quetta Islamabad on July 25, 2025. We are in touch with the national and provincial leadership to agree on a road map to bring peace to the province. We will continue our efforts to include all stakeholders for this purpose and take practical steps for harmony with our affiliates through some pilot projects, so as to show the way for government and non -governmental agencies through examples of some real groundwork. One of the other things like this is a Banu Cain program that we intend to expand in Balochistan, to develop better jobs and Earniatics.
Jamaat -e -Islami is not a nationalist party and not only a national party, but also a party that seeks its roots in the foundations of the Muslim Ummah and in the principles of humanity, out of any borders. We believe that this scope of unity is much better than any piece of view. This approach with justice for all can bring peace and prosperity to the region, as Allah has declared in his book,
“And if only the people of the cities believed in and frightened, we would have opened blessings on them from the heavens and the earth.” (Surah Al -Raaf -96)
