PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday indicated a motion of no -confidence motion against Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandpur, saying that the legislators have achieved the democratic right of the table nine trusts after receiving the required number.
This came after the Supreme Court orders, after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which had earlier restored the specific seats given to the PML-N, PPP, Joy-F, and the ANP, which the PTI had deprived of them and strengthened the opposition in the KP Assembly.
The KP Assembly has 93 PTI -backed MPAs, who were elected as an independent candidate. On the contrary, the number of opposition has been withdrawn from 27 when they were awarded specific seats.
Twenty-one specific seats for women were restored in the KP Assembly, 8 of which were allocated for Joi F, Six Muslim League-N, and 5 PPP. One seat was also allotted to PTI Parliamentarians and ANP.
Meanwhile, four specific seats for minorities were restored in the KP Assembly, two of which were handed over to the FIF, one to the Muslim League N and the PPP.
“We are not conspiring against the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, he noted:” On the day we have a member in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, it will be our democratic right to advance the confidence movement, “said Kandi.
KP Governor, who often criticized and engaged in verbal wars with Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandpur, claimed that PTI workers would soon celebrate ‘Thanksgiving Day’.
However, at the same time, he also said that he did not want CM Gandpur to become “unemployed and holiday” politics.
It was a day before the CM Gandpur’s strong message, when he said his government could not be removed from any constitutional sources.
“If anyone thinks that they can demolish our government, I challenge them – I will quit politics. Our authority and this government fully belong to the PTI founder. Whenever it orders, the government can dissolve. You cannot get anything constitutionally.”
JUI-F, which also holds a strong position in the Assembly, however, has said that it will not be part of any movement that tries to abolish the present provincial government.
Meanwhile Kandi said: “[JUI-F Emir] Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a politician and we often meet with him. “
To keep rumors to rest
However, the ruling Muslim League (N) has denied conspiracies against the PTI -led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which rejected speculation about the demolition of the provincial setup by voting without confidence.
A day earlier, a meeting between KP Governor Kandi and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif mobilized speculation to eliminate the Center’s CM Gandapur plan.
Addressing the Geo News Morning Show “Geo Pakistan”, PML -N Senator Irfan Siddiqui said it was wrong to label the Prime Minister’s meeting as a conspiracy.
“We will not resort to any tactic that can put Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a crisis,” he said.
On the other hand, addressing the Geo News program “Today, Shahbaz Khanzada’s Sutha”, the Prime Minister’s public and political affairs, Allah, has denied claims that the ruling party has discussed the removal of the KP government with Joy Fazal.
The Prime Minister’s Advisor said while addressing the media about the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Chief of the Joy-F, June 20. He said he was also present at the meeting. Sanaullah denied any plans against PTI’s provincial government without confidence.
ANP to oppose horses trade
Deciding on a public mandate in the name of safe seats, the President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Aimal Wali Khan, said his party would always oppose the horse trade process.
In a statement, Emal alleged that Parliament was being weakened by non -transparent decisions and that the democratic system was deliberately damaged.
He further criticized that the recent statements of KPCM Gandapur were trying to divert public attention from the government’s poor performance.
The ANP chief claimed that the people who appointed Gandpur as Chief Minister still seem to be satisfied with their performance. He added that powerful constituencies were not in favor of defeating the provincial government.
