TEHRAN: Iran has rejected reports that it intends to resume nuclear talks with the United States and accused Washington of exaggerating the impact of US attacks.
Foreign Minister of the country, Abbas Aragchi, termed the claims as baseless and said that no talks, agreements or arrangements have been made.
The most serious dispute between Israel and Iran has interrupted nuclear talks between the two countries. However, President Donald Trump said Washington will hold talks with Tehran next week, his special envoy Steve Watkov expressed his “hope for a comprehensive peace deal”.
But Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi rejected it as a “speculation” that Tehran was ready to return to the table, saying that it should not be taken seriously.
“I want to clearly state that no agreement, management or dialogue has been made to start a new conversation,” he said on state television. “No plans have been made yet to start talks.”
Aragchi’s refusal came when Iranian lawmakers passed a “ban” bill to suspend cooperation with UN nuclear care, and then when Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei accused Trump of imposing US strikes on Iranian nuclear places.
In a television -based speech – his first hearing after the war with Israel – Khomeini called Iran’s “victory” against Israel, vowed that he never bowed to our pressure, and insisted that Washington was offered a humiliating “slap”.
“The US president exaggerated the events in an extraordinary way, and found that he needed exaggeration,” Khamenea rejected the US claims, saying that Iran’s nuclear program had been established for decades.
He insisted that the strikes did not “do anything special” for Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. However, Aragchi described the loss as “serious” and said a detailed diagnosis continued.
Trump claimed that key facilities, including the underground Fordo uranium enrichment site, were “eliminated” by US B -2 bombers.
Posting on his true social platform, he rejected speculation that Iran may have removed enriched uranium before raids, and said: “Nothing was fired … very dangerous, and very heavy and difficult to move!”
He added that photos of the satellite shown on the site have only indicated that the Iranian staff is trying to protect the facility from concrete.
Khamenei rejected such claims, saying, “The Islamic Republic won, and hit the face of the United States in retaliation.”
Both sides have announced a victory: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has termed it a “historic victory”, while Khamenei said Iran’s missile retaliation has brought Israel to the brink of collapse.

In Washington, the real effects of strikes have given rise to sharp political and intelligence debates.
A leaked classified diagnosis suggests that the damage to Iran’s nuclear program can be less than the initial claim, possibly delaying progress in just a few months.
This contradicts the statements of senior US officials.
CIA Director John Rutt Cliff said many facilities would need to be “rebuilt over the years”.
Pentagon Chief Pete Hegsit accused the media of misrepresenting the operation.
He said that the United States used a large scale GBU 57 bunker buster bombs on Fordo and another underground site, while submarine launched Tamak missiles targeted the third facility.
“President Trump created terms to end the war, decisively – choose your word – eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities,” said Hegsit.
There are doubts that Iran quietly removed 400kg of enriched uranium from its highly sensitive sites before the strike, possibly hiding nuclear materials somewhere else in the country.
Netanyahu says Iran ‘failed’
The waves of Israeli attacks on nuclear and military sites and a revenge missile from Iran in mid-June-to this day, the deadliest exchange between the two countries-the United States bombed three major Iranian nuclear facilities.
Initial intelligence reports, which CNN earlier revealed, indicated that the strikes did not destroy the key components and delayed Iran’s nuclear program for months only.
Experts questioned whether Iran had transferred a pre -enriched uranium to protect it? The US administration has strongly denied such suggestions.
The Israeli military said Iran’s nuclear places have taken a “important” blow, but warned that the entire loss of damage is “just initial”.
Netanyahu said that Israel “failed Iran’s nuclear project”, and warned that any attempt by Iran to rebuild it would be fulfilled with the same determination and intensity.
Iran has permanently denied the search for nuclear weapons and defended its “legitimate rights” for peaceful use of nuclear energy.
It has also said that he is ready to return to nuclear talks with Washington.
According to the Iranian Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks on Iran have killed at least 627 civilians.
According to Israeli figures, Iran’s attacks on Israel killed 28 people.
