ISLAMABAD: The National Security Committee (NSC) on Monday strongly condemned Israeli aggression operations against Iran, which endorsed the right to defend the neighboring country in the UN Charter.
According to a statement issued after a meeting issued to review the regional situation chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the NSC strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and expressed deep regret that the attacks were in agreement with the constructive dialogue process between Iran and the United States.
It noted that Israel’s “careless” military operations against Iran have increased regional tensions to a dangerous extent, threatening to give rise to widespread conflict and damaging the possibility of dialogue and diplomacy.
Offering condolences to the government and the Iranian people on the loss of innocent lives, the committee on June 22 expressed serious concern over strikes in Iranian nuclear places in Fordo, Nutson and Isfahan, saying that international law, IAEA resolutions and UN charter charter charter.
Repeating Pakistan’s long -standing stance, the committee called on all the concerned parties to immediately end the situation through diplomacy and dialogue.
The NSC also emphasized the importance of the ban on international human rights and human rights law, while confirmed Pakistan’s commitment to actively engage with all parties to promote regional peace and stability.
The meeting came against the backdrop of a significant increase in the Middle East turmoil due to Israeli invasion of Iran.
From June 13, Israel has launched a massive attack on Iran, targeting military bases, nuclear places and residential areas across the country.
The attacks have killed at least 950 people in the Islamic Republic, including top military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
According to data from the Prime Minister’s Office, Iran has retaliated with drone and missile barrages, which have killed at least 24 people in Israel.
Iran does not recognize Israel, and has long been accused of killing its scientists as well as killing its nuclear facilities.
Earlier, Israel collided with the Evans prison in northern Tehran, a powerful symbol of Iran’s governing system, which Israel called its most severe bombing on the Iranian capital a day after joining the US war.
‘The immediate end of Israeli aggression’
