Leaders from Pakistan and around the world expressed grief over the loss of at least 242 lives in the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, India on Thursday.
A few minutes after Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel was taken off from the International Airport in Ahmedabad, London -related Air India flight 171 crashed with 242.
The plane came down in a residential area, which crashed in a medical college hostel outside the airport limits at lunch. It was on the south of the British capital, towards Gatok Airport. There is no report of survivors.
Expressing his grief over the tragic incident, Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said: “Today, we are deeply saddened by the tragic accident of #Airindia flight AI171 near Ahmedabad.”
With his X -handle, the security Cazar said: “Our heartfelt condolences are from the families and loved ones of all the riders. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the affected people.”
PPP Chairman and former Foreign Minister Bilal Bhutto-Zardari said: “In the early today, a tragic incident was heard.
He added, “Where the flight from Air India with about 240 passengers near Ahmedabad, India, immediately crashed and destroyed. I express deep condolences to the people of India.”
Reacting to the incident, three -time former prime minister and PML -N’s supremo Nawaz Sharif said: “My heartfelt condolences to the families of precious lives lost in the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.”
He added: “This devastating loss is beyond the borders and reminds us of our common humanity. I have a deep sympathy with Prime Minister Modi and the people of India.”
