Los Angeles: After days of demonstrations in Los Angeles, protests against strict immigration policies spread in the United States on Wednesday, as California created itself for a legal war with the White House over US President Donald Trump’s military deployment.
On the sixth day of the protest, more than a thousand people gathered in the second largest city in the United States, who continued to march peacefully on the road.
The second night of the curfew was expected as the city leaders tried to get a handle on the vandalism and looting after the darkness, which targeted some city blocks in 500 square miles (1,300 square kilometers) metropolis.
“For most parts, I have a Hanky cord here for most parts,” said Lin Storgis, 66, 66 -year -old protesters, 66, 66 -year -old protesters.
“Our city is not a fire at all, it is burning, because our terrifying leader is trying to tell you.”
Most peaceful protests flashed over the sudden increase in efforts to catch immigrants in the country illegally.
Violence pockets-including the burning of self-driving taxis and throwing stones at the police, had not been dealt with by 8,500 officers of the Angels Police Department.
Trump succeeded in partially contesting elections in the elections last year, which he claims to be an “attack” by non -documentary immigrants.
Now he is getting the opportunity to make a political capital, ordering the National Guard of California to be deployed despite the objections of Governor Gavin Newsom, the first time the US president has taken such action in decades.
“We will have a safe country,” he told reporters in the theater performance. “
“We’re not going to get what happened in Los Angeles. Remember, if I had not been there … Los Angeles would have been burning on the ground.”
One of the 4,700 soldiers deployed by Trump was protecting 1,000 facilities and working with ice agents, Scott Sherman, Deputy Commanding General Army North, who is leading the work.
He said that the remaining 700 active duty marines – citizens were gathering or training to deal with problems.
The Pentagon has said that the deployment will cost taxpayers $ 134 million.
Governor Newsome, a Democrat, has alleged that Trump is trying to expand the conflict for political benefits.
On Thursday, his lawyers were expected in court to temporarily demand a prevention order, which would prevent soldiers from keeping with immigration officers when they arrest immigrants.
The administration’s lawyers called the request a “cross -political stunt”.
Extraordinary militancy will go beyond the borders of his state, Newsom said.
He said on Tuesday, “Democracy in front of our eyes is invading.” “California may be the first, but it will not clearly end here.”
Protest across the country
Despite Trump’s threats to deploy a national guard in other democratic states over the governors’ objections, the protesters have no use.
Demonstrations were reported in St. Louis, Rally, Manhattan, Indianapolis and Denver.
In San Antonio, hundreds of people marched near the City Hall and chanted slogans, where Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott has appointed the state’s national guard.
The “nine Kings” movement was expected across the country on Saturday, when Trump will attend the most extraordinary military parade in the US capital.
Feature of parade, warplanes and tanks, has been organized to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founder of the US Army, but it is also Trump’s 79th birthday.
Meanwhile, the curfew was also imposed in Spoken City last night after protests against Trump’s immigration policy.
‘Angry through the White House’
The Trump administration is calling the protest a violent threat to the nation, in which military force needs the help of regular immigration agents and police.
But Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said the crisis was created in Washington.
“A week ago, everything in Los Angeles was peaceful,” he told reporters.
“Matters began to become difficult on Friday when raids … this is the cause of the problems.
“It was encouraged by the White House.”
The arrest of masked and armed men continued on Wednesday.
A pastor in the suburban area of Donon said five armed men arrested five armed men operating cars outside the state.
When he challenged the men and asked for his badge number and name, he refused.
Lopez told Broadcaster TLA, “He did his rifle to me and said,” You need to come back. “
Footage seen by AFP shows that a car ramist in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles appears as a federal agent.
Some smoke device is deployed and masked men order a man from the car with a car with a car, and what the witnesses had said was his wife and children shaking badly.
