LOS ANGELES/WASHINGTON: The US military will temporarily deploy 700 Marines to Los Angeles unless more soldiers from the National Guard can reach, and President Donald Trump’s response to his strict immigration policies will indicate another increase.
On the fourth day of the protest in Los Angeles on Monday, hundreds of protesters gathered outside a federal detention center where migrants were held.
The US military said a battalion would be sent to help protect federal property and personnel until more troops of the National Guard could reach the scene.
