A high -level parliamentary delegation, led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, held a meeting for the UN with a permanent representative of the People’s Republic of China, Ambassador Fu Kong discussed the security situation in South Asia in the wake of India’s recent aggression against Pakistan.
During the meeting, former Foreign Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal thanked the people of Pakistan for their unprecedented support extended by China during the Indian provocation.
He informed the Chinese aspect of the April 22 Phalgam attack and Pakistan’s responsible and prevented progress in response to India’s violent currency.
He emphasized that it was regrettable that India rejected Pakistan’s credible, impartial and independent investigation.
Bilawal reaffirmed the centrality of resolving the Jammu and Kashmir conflict for sustainable peace in South Asia and called on China to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Security Council resolutions through multilateral cooperation and engagement.
He emphasized the urgent need of the international community towards resolving conflict disputes for lasting peace in South Asia.
The delegation also shared details of India’s arbitrary attacks on the Pakistani territory, deliberately targeting civilians, its active involvement in terrorism in Pakistan, and the provocative decision made in the Indus Waters Agreement.
The two sides agreed that aggressive posting and unilateral measures threaten peace in the region and should be strongly opposed. The two sides also expressed their joint commitment to peaceful resolution of conflict, multilateral cooperation, maintaining the principles of the UN Charter, the sanctity of agreements and protecting international law.
After the end of the talks, Bilawal expressed his views on X.
He said: “I condemned India’s negligent measures, including its water weapons, and confirmed that IIOJK has been a line for a solution for conflict and a mistake for regional peace. Pakistan’s ceasefire, regional stability, and a peaceful resolution of the UN Charter.”
“The international community has to reject India’s dangerous ‘new routine’ about aggression,” called Bilawal Bhutto.
The delegation also included two former Foreign Secretary, former Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jalani, who also served as the caretaker Foreign Minister, and the former ambassador, Tamina Janju.
Bilawal briefed Russia’s envoy about Indian aggression, IWT violations
Meanwhile, the permanent representative of Russia met with the UN Ambassador’s Permanent Representative, led by Bilawal Bhutto, with a high -level parliamentary delegation.
Bilawal briefed the Russian envoy about the situation after the Phalgam attack, and dismissed India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan without any evidence.
He highlighted the premature and unilateral steps of India, including holding about the Indus Waters Agreement.
He also briefed the envoy about India’s terrorist sponsorship within Pakistan.
Bilawal depends on the fair and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict in accordance with international law in the region.
Parliamentary delegation briefed UNSC E10
Later, at a meeting held at the Pakistan Mission today, the parliamentary delegation held elected members of the UN Security Council (E10) after the illegal aggression of India and conducted the attack and the Indus Water Treaty (IWT), which violates international law and agreement.
Pakistan confirmed peace, dialogue, diplomacy, diplomacy as well as all resolution of all residual issues with India, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, according to the Security Council resolutions, Pakistan’s permanent mission, in which the UN was described in a post on X.
The delegation called on UNSC members to move forward with dispute management and actively support the resolution of the conflict in South Asia.

Bilawal said in an X -post that he “made an important exchange with the Pakistani delegation with the elected members of the UN Security Council (E10), in which Pakistan’s principle and responsible position against India’s growing provocation.”
He said he confirmed our commitment to “ban, diplomacy, dialogue, and international order based on rules. Identifying the risks of Indian water weapons, violating the Indus Water Agreement and resolving the UN Security Council resolutions”.
“Pakistan unmatched terrorism in all its forms and is a victim of terrorism, which plans and supporting outside our borders. We do not find conflicts, but are fully prepared to defend our sovereignty and regional integrity. South Asia has not done another crisis.”
