The mayor of the region said that four people were “at a very sick hospital” on Tuesday after a dozens were injured last night when a car entered a crowd at Liverpool’s Premier League title parade.
A 53 -year -old white British man, who was thought to be the driver of the car, was arrested on Monday, though police said he did not consider the incident as a terror.
“We are definitely hoping to draw,” Steve Roderm, the mayor of Liverpool City Region, told BBC Radio about all four people.
In the morning, newspapers were sprayed with pictures of the horrific incident.
In the Daily Mail, the Sun Daily summarized the headlines such as the “horror At Liverpool Parade” and the “Parade Et Parade” that a happy night for the reds, which was celebrating the 20th English League record.
A few minutes after the players’ open top bus passed, a dark car entered the large crowd that hit people on its way.
At a press conference last night, emergency workers said 27 football fans were taken to the hospital, including two people who were seriously injured.
Four children were among the injured, one of whom is seriously involved.
‘Scary’
“We believe this is an isolated event, and we are not currently looking for anyone else in this connection,” Morsi Side Police Assistant Chief Constable Jenny Sims told reporters.
“This incident is not considered as terrorism,” he added.
Millions of people came out of the rain to see the victory parade of the northwestern English team.
The witnesses said the team had passed a few minutes before the bus flew in a car crowd on Water Street.
“It was extremely fast,” said Harry Rashid, 48, from Birmingham, Central England, who was in the parade with his wife and two young daughters.
“Initially, we just knocked on the pop, pop, people’s pop of the car,” he told reporters. ” “It was terrible and when he was going over people, you could hear the conflict.”
‘Worthy bravery’
In a large blue tent on the road, twenty other people were treated at the scene due to their injuries.
Four people, including a child, were trapped under the car and had to be removed, said Nick Serley, chief fire officer of the Morsi Side Fire and Rescue Service.
Prime Minister Career starrer praised the “remarkable bravery shown by the police and other emergency services”.
“They are supporting and taking care of those injured in these horrific events,” he said in a statement. “The whole country stands with Liverpool,” he added.
Photos shared on social media show that the car was stabbed and angry fans engulfed it, which broke the previous windows when the police tried to hold them.
Liverpool had previously been a red sea when supporters celebrated the Premier League title with manager Arn Slot and Star Players on the city’s streets to win the Premier League title so that they were accompanied by Mohammad Salah and Virgil Van Dhak.

Liverpool FC said on X that he was working with the Morsi side police, adding: “Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by this serious incident”.
