ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar termed his three -day visit as ‘extremely successful’ and said that Pakistan made significant progress on diplomatic, strategic and economic fronts during the engagements in Beijing.

“We have already sent a draft framework to Uzbekistan and Afghanistan…. I am determined to finalize it by the beginning of June.”
Dar said the financing and harmony for the project has been picked up directly with China, which responded positively. “This project, along with the Peshawar Kabul Highway and the ML -1 upgrade, will extensively promote Pakistan’s contact with the Central Asian Republic and increase the trade capacity of our used ports.”
Considering security cooperation, FM Dar said, “China has deep concerns over attacks against people in Pakistan in Pakistan. I assured them that we were resolving these threats seriously. We discussed a permanent mechanism to prevent cross -border terrorism.”
During his previous government from 2013 to 2017, he reiterated that the operation was spent more than 4 billion on the Operation Zarb Azib, which effectively eliminated terrorism. “Unfortunately, the situation worsened due to the previous government’s careless border policies and the release of severe terrorists. Now, our commitment is clear: we will crush terrorism with iron hands as before.”
Dar further emphasized that the Chinese leadership stands with Pakistan on all basic issues. “He reaffirmed his support for our sovereignty and territorial integrity and supported Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and demanded a resolution in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions. We confirmed our support for China’s policy, including Tibet.”
On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of China’s diplomatic relations, Dar congratulated China and after the first round of Beijing, invited his officials to Islamabad for the second round of Pakistan-China strategic dialogue.

He shared details of the recent dispute and condemned the Indian attacks. According to the Foreign Minister, about 75 75 Indian aircraft were launched, 24 pay loads were dropped, and more than one aircraft, including Rafales and AUAV were dropped by Pakistan.
“We responded in the light of day under the UN Charter – not as cowardly, but as a responsible, independent nation.”

We have never made our marriage and missiles to attack others, but to protect peace.”

The Foreign Minister highlighted his government’s commitment to improve relations with Afghanistan. “We have religious, cultural, historical and geographical relations with Afghanistan. Our access to Afghan society was welcomed. We need to move beyond the level of charge and to a great extent.”
