LAHORE: About 70 days after a passenger train, Jaffar Express, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked, Indian terrorist proxies launched another brutal attack, in which this time innocent school children were targeted in remote Kozdar district.
Research shows that Balochistan has now been affected more than 300 times due to terrorism, sectarian and linguistic violence in the last 25 years.
Jafar Express, traveling from Quetta to Peshawar, boarded the ship with at least 380 passengers, hijacked on March 11 this year.
While security officials managed to release 354 hostages, the incident resulted in at least 64 deaths, including 33 rebels and 18 soldiers equipped with explosives.
Khozdar has been on the radar of the terrorists for a long time.
In November 2016, just a few hours before the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, the Army Chief of Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif, and key Chinese guests were scheduled to inaugurate the port, killing more than 30 people here.
