Riding on what he describes as a “extraordinary definition” from around the world, the US President is highlighting his role in mediation between India and Pakistan, claiming that his intervention has long stopped the “descendant nuclear war” between opponents.
After a trip to the Middle East, where he allegedly acquired $ 10 trillion deals in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, President Fox sat for an interview with Fox News.
During the conversation, he resolved the progress in the Arab region, including talks with Iran, and the ability to last lasting peace after recent talks in Istanbul.
However, the President permanently pursued his efforts to overcome tensions between India and Pakistan. He repeatedly emphasized his participation and extensive appreciation, which he believes he has received for his peace -making efforts in the region.
Although the president painted globally for his diplomatic intervention, the specific nature of his mediation and the danger of the “Asian nuclear war” is unclear.
On May 6, against Delhi, illegally occupying Jammu and Kashmir, India had fought a unprecedented war against Islamabad, without providing any evidence of the involvement of the Pahalgam incident in Jammu and Kashmir.
To ensure its sovereignty, there was little option to respond with Pakistan and bring the attacker to the senses. In doing so, it also surprised the world, including six Indian fighter jets, including three Rafael, an S-400 missile defense system, and hacking core installments.
This was the first time in his history that India suffered such humiliation through under -stream Pakistan. For these reasons, there was concerns that the Belt -based Modi government would go to some extent to restore its lost honor.
‘The greatest success’
Whatever misunderstanding Modi was, he was the dangers he was presenting to his own nation, he was pumped through right -wing media and extreme Hindutva ideology.
Nevertheless, the United States, India’s closest ally, was not missing. President Trump immediately directed Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio to call top Indian officials and then persuade Pakistan to observe patience.
In a few hours, the two warring countries restored the hotline contacts and agreed to the ceasefire. This positive development gave great relief to the international community, which is holding its breath and wondering where this increase will be.
President Trump happily acknowledged the Fox News host, “The biggest achievement that I have ever been given credit for.” He acknowledged that India and Pakistan were “not a little” but “major nuclear powers” and explained that during a full war between the two countries, they stopped a major accident in the South Asian region.
“They were angry. And in the next step, you probably see what was getting something for the tate. It was getting deep and more missiles. Everyone was strong, with one point, you know what the word of N (nuclear) is. This is a very bad word. This is the worst thing.
Then he said what tools he had planted to achieve the ceasefire. “The hatred was great and I said, we are going to talk about trade. We are going to do a lot of trade …. I’m using trade to score and make peace.”
He expressed relief that his efforts created fruit. “It was going to be a nuclear war that I thought about or near, very close. You were there. And now everyone is happy.”
‘Love to trade’
Although the host of Fox News wanted to move forward on other topics, President Trump took a moment to mention his relations with Pakistan.
“I have a great conversation with Pakistan. You know, we can’t forget them. Because it takes two tangoes. And with India, I am very confident and with Pakistan, I also talked about trade. They would like to trade.”
Then he praised Pakistan and its people who have surprised diplomats from all over the world. And this is something that Islamabad has long wished. However, for the past few decades, the US -Pakistan relationship has been revolving around the support of anti -tribal but not trade.
“They are wonderful people. They produce incredible products. And we do not trade much with them. And still I have a good relationship. In fact, I told my people, call them. Let’s start trade and get to meet because I am a man of my word.”
Although the United States is India’s largest trading partner, his bilateral trade touched about $ 129 billion in 2024. However, he liked Delhi the most because he had a distance of $ 45.7 billion with Washington. It is not surprising that in the same breath, President Trump accused of hurting US business.
President Trump remarked, “India is one of the world’s largest tax tariff countries. They make business almost impossible.” And then he repeated: “You know they are willing to cut their 100 % rates for the United States.”
Relationships need to be strengthened
There is no doubt that the leadership role of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the complex war plan of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir should be appreciated to change the image of Pakistan.
At the same time, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, who had long made his name to the best finance ministers, should support Pakistan’s ambassadors in the United States, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran.
However, experts believe that there is no room for sovereignty for Islamabad. What could happen, India will be one of the top allies in the United States.
Nevertheless, Pakistan will have to use this moment to attack a better trade agreement with President Trump and to build trade -based relations rather than merely promote anti -Trevirism cooperation.
