ISLAMABAD: After the victory of ‘Bunyan Um-Marsus Operation’, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif witnessed Tashkar (Thax Guong Day) on Friday, and thanked Almighty Allah and paid tribute to the army.
President Zardari said that Pakistan would never compromise on its geographical integrity, sovereignty or basic national interests. He said, “We will respond to any aggression against the country with full force.
Since Pakistan is witnessing a victory against India on that day, the President said: “It is a great moment for us to celebrate the success of Operation Bonyan Um-Marsus in response to Indian invading aggression. I thank Allah Almighty for blessing us with victory in this important time.”
“I pay tribute to the brave soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the entire military leadership, especially the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, the Chief of Army Staff, the Chief of Air Staff, and the Chief of the Navy. This victory is not only related to the Armed Forces of Pakistan, which is against the Pakistani nation.
The President said he was proud of the armed forces who responded to Indian provocation with health, professionalism and strength. “I am glad that the world witnessed and acknowledged the operational impact as well as the patience and patience of Pakistan, which forced the enemy to end our aggression. We stood strong. We stood united and we were conquered with dignity.”
He added, “Pakistan is a peaceful country and does not aggressively design against any country. However, there is no doubt, Pakistan will never compromise on its sovereignty, regional integrity, or its basic national interests. Any aggression against our homeland will be fulfilled with full force.”
President Zardari said: “We want peace in our region. Our commitment to regional peace and stability should never be made a mistake for weakness. We reject any unilateral suspension of Sindh’s water agreement as there is no such supply in the agreement.
He remarked, “For our brave soldiers – those who were standing on their land, who endanger their lives and sacrificed their lives – we offer them our eternal thanks.”

He also praised Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Babar and his “Shaheen” who proudly raised the heads of Pakistanis. He added, “I also paid tribute to the Chief of Naval staff, as under his leadership the Pakistan Navy continued to protect Pakistan’s maritime fronts.”
He also thanked all the allies and opposition parties and all political leaders and parliament for demonstrating the ideal unity and historical solidarity.
