ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly has once again unanimously supported Pakistan’s military response to India’s recent aggression, calling it a demonstration of national unity.
Legislators from various political parties staged a rally behind the armed forces, and praised their steadfast measures to defend the country’s sovereignty.
The latest increase in the enmity of Pakistan decades -old India began on May 7 when at least 31 civilians were killed in a cross -border crossing. In retaliation, Pakistan dropped its five fighter jets, including three Rafael, and dozens of drones.
Meanwhile, India is continuing to send drones to the Pakistani territory, in which the army has fired close to 80, which includes Israeli-made IAI Heron-Mermia, long-lasting, without tolerance-without airplanes airplanes (UAV).
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif while addressing the assembly, praised the army’s bold stance against India’s provocation. Asif said, “We have effectively responded to India’s offensive designs, and our Armed Forces are fighting bravely with the Line of Control (LoC), border and working limits.”
He highlighted the important achievements of the Pakistan Army, such as the lack of five Indian fighter jets and the interference of a drone aimed at collecting intelligence in Pakistan’s positions.
Asif also endorsed the strategic support received by international allies, including China, Azerbaijan and Turkey, who stand with the country during this period of tension.
Asif remarked, “India’s close allies have removed themselves, and our opponents have failed to seek wider international support.”
The Defense Minister also talked about the strategic importance of maintaining national morale, note that Pakistan’s army is well equipped and is fully prepared for any addition.
Asif said, “Our forces are fighting bravely and 200 % are ready to tackle any challenge,” Asif said, urging the people to trust the army’s efforts.
Focus on security, not on political persecution: PTI
During his address to the National Assembly, senior PTI leader Asad Qaiser emphasized the national unity, saying: “When Pakistan faces a challenge, the entire nation puts aside and united.”
He confirmed the role of PTI as a responsible political party and added: “For the sake of unity, we supported the resolutions presented in the House.”
Kaiser also highlighted the injustice facing PTI members, citing the abuse of the party leadership and his imprisonment in Adiala Jail. “We were subjected to misconduct, but when India attacked, we surpassed our anger,” he said.
Criticizing the government, Caesar condemned the decision on military courts, which he believed was unconstitutional. “Military courts should not be used for civilian trials,” he said.
Despite the court order, he also expressed concern over the refusal of a meeting between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandpur, and PTI founder, Imran Khan.
He accused the government of dividing the nation instead of promoting unity, adding: “The government has dispersed national unity.” Caesar also condemned the crackdown on PTI workers, calling it an illegal act against democracy. “It’s treacherous,” he gave remarks.
Kaiser demanded the release of PTI leadership, especially Khan, who lives in jail. He warned, “If something happens to him, the responsible will be held accountable.”
He emphasized that despite being in a state of war, the government should focus on national security rather than political oppression.
JUI-F to observe ‘Defense Day’
Maulana Fazal Rehman, the Umair of the Jinnah Ulema-Fazal (Joy-F), announced that his party would witness the defense day in honor of Pakistan’s defense today.
He said: “There will be a million marches in Peshawar on May 11, and on May 15, another million marches will be held in Quetta.” The rallies are expected to show an important demonstration of solidarity and unity among the people.
Fazal further explained the party’s efforts to support the defense of the country, saying: “The government has demanded admission to the youth for civil defense. We have entrusted the responsibility of civil defense to Islam.”
He added that the youth of the religious seminar are fighting on the next posts of defense of Pakistan. “Today, young people from a religious seminar are on the first line of defense for Pakistan,” he said.
The JUIF leader also touched the country’s foreign policy concerns. He expressed dissatisfaction with the current state of diplomatic activities and said, “We have no diplomatic mission abroad. We have a phone call.”
Fazal said that Pakistan should engage with countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afghanistan to strengthen its foreign relations. “We should have engaged with China, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afghanistan,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening Pakistan’s defense agencies in these difficult times. “This time is to strengthen the country’s defense agencies,” he said.
Fazal also pointed out that Pakistan is currently on the next lines against Indian aggression. He remarked, “The fact is that Pakistan is on the next lines against Indian aggression.”
He condemned India’s actions and said that Indian forces have launched rockets in mosques, seminars and civilian areas. He added, “Our brothers and sisters were martyred.
Despite the challenges, he praised the Pakistan Army for its brave and strategic defense efforts. “The Pakistani army has defended the country with bravery and amazing strategies,” he said.
‘Mann fabricated reason’
Federal Minister Rana Tanveer strongly condemned India’s offensive against Pakistan. He said, “India has launched an aggression against Pakistan,” he said, emphasizing the self -made excitement used by India to link these measures to Pakistan.
He said: “India fabricated the reason [for attacks] And tried to connect it to Pakistan. “
Tanveer emphasized that Pakistan has successfully thwarted India’s design. He remarked, “Pakistan has crushed India’s ambitions. He also said that India had attached itself with Israel. “India has formed an alliance with Israel,” Tanveer said, condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza.
Tanveer advised that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was misled by Israel. He said, “Modi is caught in the net of Israel’s advice,” he added, “Now, Modi has to deal with Pakistan.”
Regarding people’s feelings, Tanveer shared: “We are receiving calls from people who want to go to the border.” Expressing confidence in Pakistan’s military capabilities, he said: “Our forces are professional, and I know that we have modern defense equipment.”
He further praised Pakistan’s military promotion by highlighting the lead of JF17 Thunder Fighter Jet. “JF17 Thunder’s capacity is more than F16,” he said.
Tanveer said with a warning to India: “I want to understand India that it is not a gun, but the people behind the gun that make a difference.”
He also supported the Pakistan Air Force for his success in bringing Rafael Fighter Jet down, and said, “The help of shooting Rafael goes to our Shaheen (Pakistan Air Force).”
