Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DGISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has warned that any retaliation by Pakistan will be so decisive and surprising that its echo will be felt worldwide.
Addressing a joint press conference with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the military spokesman said, “When Pakistan invades, it will be irrelevant and undeniable. You will not have to explain the media – it will speak itself.”
India started strikes on Pakistan and AJK early Wednesday morning. The attack, which Islamabad called the “clear act of war”.
Islamabad said that six Pakistani places were targeted from mosques to hydropower projects. At least 31 civilians, including children, were martyred and 57 were injured when India launched an unprecedented and malicious attack at six places.
In retaliation, the Pakistan Armed Forces shot five Indian Air Force (IAF) jets, destroying seven drones, along with the Line of Control (LOC) as well as a brigade headquarters and several check posts.
Later, New Delhi alleged that Pakistan targeted 15 Indian cities with drone and missiles. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army said it shot 29 drones from India at several places, including Karachi and Lahore and Garrison City Rawalpindi.
During a press briefing today, the DGISPR clearly dismissed India’s allegations that Pakistan launched attacks on 15 places across the Indian territory, and called these claims “grossly wrong”. He said that India was trying to produce fabricated evidence to justify its recent military operations against Pakistan.
The DGISPR said, “India’s claims are baseless. The images they have reportedly shown about Pakistani estimates are worth laughing. An estimate of this nature will at least fire the dry grass, but their so -called evidence does not cause any harm.”
He said that India has claimed that Pakistan sacked 15 projects, all of which were neutralized by Indian air defense. However, the DGISPR made fun of these claims, and it identified India’s failure to protect its aircraft.
“If India claims that it has neutralized 15 projects, why can’t it protect its five jets from shooting through the Pakistan Air Force?” He asked, citing five Indian planes,, including three Rafale fighters, a MIG-29, and one SU-30.
He said India launched a very provocative and dangerous attack on its own area in Amritsar in early May 8, calling it a “deep captaincy and a blatant attack”.
He said that three estimates were deliberately removed in the Indian capital of Punjab.
He said that the fourth estimate entered Pakistan’s airspace and Pakistan’s air defense neutralized it. “Whatever movement or anything coming, it is being monitored and taken out.”
He said that Pakistan clearly denies any intentions or action that would endanger the civilian population in Indian Punjab. “Is the Indian army and government living in the 18th century? He asked.
“India left missiles in Amritsar to promote anti -Pakistan sentiment ‘
Addressing the press conference, DPM Dar said that India deliberately targeted Amritsar with estimates and missiles in the calculation of inciting anti -Pakistan sentiment within the Sikh community.
The deputy prime minister said, “In a deeply blasphemous move, three projects were deliberately dropped in Amritsar, the capital of the Indian Punjab, while the fourth estimates entering Pakistan’s airspace was neutralized by Pakistan Air Defense and its debris was in Denga.”
He further said that this malicious act of the Hindutva government has falsely involved in targeting Indian citizens and inciting anti -Pakistani sentiments in the Punjabi Sikh population to target Indian citizens and to external sectarian tensions within India.
He added, “Pakistan has clearly denied any intentions or action that threatened the urban population in Indian Punjab. Unlike Indian leadership’s discriminatory policies, Pakistan is firmly committed to protecting innocent lives and regional harmony.”
