Sydney: Australia’s left -wing Prime Minister Anthony Albanians won the national election on Saturday, and crushed their conservative rivals in a competition under economic volatility and Donald Trump.
Analysts said that Albanian’s slow but stable leadership resonated at a time of global turmoil, analysts said, adding that voters sent tough opposition leader Peter Dutton to Droos.
Dutton said he had called the Prime Minister to congratulate him on the victory.
He told supporters, “We did not work enough during this campaign. This is clear tonight and I accept full responsibility.”
For an unexpectedly major parliamentary majority, Albani’s Labor Party was on track, but former police officer Dutton suffered a rare humiliation of losing his seat.
Happy laborer supporters changed the craft beers to the face of Albanians at an election party in Sydney, and shouted “Albo” alias when the results were announced on TV.
“This could prove to be a major victory for wages,” said Antony Green, a respected election analyst at the national broadcaster ABC.
Albaniz has promised to adopt renewable energy, tackle the damaged houses and put money into a health care system.
Dutton wanted to reduce immigration, eliminate crime and dig a long -standing ban on nuclear power.
US President Trump put a long shadow on a six -week election campaign, which created a deep global interest in whether his economic chaos affected by his prices would affect the result.
“In instability times, we expect people to return to a stable present,” Henry Mahar, a lecturer at the University of Sydney Politics, told AFP.
The policy of reducing public services as a similar deduction led by Elon Musk brought chaos to the United States.
And his flagship policy to dot the country with nuclear reactors was also widely seen as a widespread responsibility.
Mad as a cut snake
After hungry voters put their belts, Barbeciovs were on the “Sasjids of Democracy” – a tradition of a polling day passing – while others involved in the bright swimming dresses entered the booth after taking the bed early in the morning.
Before the counting of the first vote, speculations were already increasing whether Dutton could avoid election loss.
Some of the already voters showed Dutton’s support for Trump, which he praised globally this year as a “great thinker” with “gravity”.
“I mean, Donald Trump is crazy like a cut -off snake, and we all know,” said 59 -year -old voter Alan Whiteman before putting his belt on Saturday.
“And we’ve got the tipo around it.”
Voting is mandatory, which is implemented with a US $ 13 fines, which is a turnout which is 90 %.
High prices
When Australians called for Trump, both Dutton and Albanizes added more miscellaneous tone.
“If I need a fight with Donald Trump or another world leader to advance the interests of my nation, I will do it in a heartbeat,” Dutton said in April.
Albani condemned Trump’s prices as an act of “harming himself” and “not a friend’s act”.
Economic concerns have dominated many Australian families struggling to pay for prices of milk, bread, electricity and petrol.
Human Resource Manager Robin Knox told AFP in Brisbane, “The cost of living – this is very high right now. Therefore, tax is also a really big thing. Petrol prices, all the basic things,” Human Resources manager Robin Knox told AFP in Brisbane.
Small business owner Jayard Bell had similar concerns.
“Our grocery shops are more expensive than a few years ago,” he said.
The campaign stumbles
The Albanian government has accepted global pressure towards the decoration, and has warned about the future in which coal exports from iron ore and pollution do not advance the economy.
The 36 -day campaign was a widespread matter, but there were a few moments of non -script levit.
Albanian went back from stage to a rally of a Having campaign, when Dutton pulled the blood when he hit an unmarried cameraman in the head with a wandering football.
