He offered an opportunity to implement the government’s recent focus on educational reforms. One such strategy is to connect a commercial (tax -based) model with public schools, especially those located in commercial areas or near the city center in every city. The idea of economic stability and education can explain how we fund, run and prepare public schools education.
As in many districts, the infrastructure and quality of public schools remains a challenge, which is unable to meet the growing expectations of many. Given the increasing population, citizenship and pressure from providing quality education in public institutions, there is a dire need for insight strategies.
Currently, there are no funds for school development. Focusing on every child is a distant dream. The first challenge is to maintain schools and build confidence in public schools.
“The Minister of Education, Umrakot, needs new, potentially unique strategies. This district has a rich cultural tradition, but it faces the challenges of limited educational infrastructure and inadequate operational funds. Improvement plan is needed to start from Pathashala School, Saidpur, Sayedpur, and Ghari School.
Need a business model that does not rely on annual grants or uncertainty. Instead, commercial stability should be detected. It’s not just about buildings and blackboards. It is about reliable access to dignity and opportunities in education.
The trading model needs a winning point of view. As an important business center that is growing rapidly, Umrakot has great potential. School buildings are located in major areas of the city. They can be re -designed with integrated trade fronts, which feature shops that can be rented. Another way is to allow commercial activity on the ground floor while the upper -floor house is a friendly educational place for children. This will convert schools into hybrid hubs for basic or secondary education.
Government Primary School Pathashala, Saidpur, Ghabitabad Primary School, and Muslim High School also need to be re -designed land use strategies. These schools are located on valuable plots in commercial areas and can be partially or fully designed to provide commercial use on the ground floor.
Local businesses and businessmen can lease these commercial units for five to ten years at a time. Providing prior rental payment can result in an immediate cash flow that can finance school facilities, renovation and upgrade.
The re -investment model should also be considered. In this way, rent revenue and commercial income will be re -invest in school improvement. Funds can be used to provide students with uniforms, smart classrooms, learning content and nutrition.
This view of long -term operational stability, from this point of view, reduces the dependence on government financing and maintains itself, a community -driven educational system.

Model schools can be linked to other projects in collaboration with organizations like the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank.
Such a view can bring meaningful change and set new standards. Selected schools in Umerkot and surrounding areas can be named as Model Government Schools. These institutions will be designed to compete with private schools in terms of quality and results, while remaining free and accessible to all students.
To fulfill this dream, Model Government Schools in Umerkot (and surrounding areas) should have a set of changes features designed to promote the quality of education. These schools should provide standard, high quality uniforms to promote the sense of dignity and identity among the students. The curriculum should be two linguistic (Sindhi and English) and is supported through interactive learning tools to enhance understanding.
Classrooms should be upgraded and converted to smart classrooms, equipped with tablets and projectors – which has a fascinating experience of learning. Science, steam labs should be focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to encourage innovation and learning. Solar panels should be provided for energy needs.
Each of these schools should have mental fitness to support social and emotional development. There should be time to read daily and critical thinking. For Grade 6 students, skills training programs should be introduced to prepare future career LPARE. The strengthening of the school should be prepared by active school management committees, ensuring that the schools are included in the needs and voices of their communities.
Some of the existing schools can be identified as a model to copy. The time has come to think about the development of Amarkot and link it to children’s education.
Pathashala should have a similar school, located in a trading center near Umrakot during the partition era and Faqir Market. We need to give it a unique shape to enable them to learn more effective by focusing on children -based education.
Government Boys Primary School, Saidpur, can also be reorganized.
The third school was based on a similar promise, located in the central Thar Bazaar, in Umrakot, Gharbabad. This school also needs to be reorganized. It also requires more land where a park can be created for students. Such models – with included classrooms and regular health tests – can increase the priceless price. The fourth school is a Muslim school, located in the main vegetable market near Umerkot Fort. This school can be re -designed to serve a better society than that time.
We need to be exposed with a strategy that will be transmitted once in other districts. This will reduce the dependence on the government budget, remove the funding gap, and there will be some ambitions in the system of education. The Minister of Education, Department of Planning and Development and District Governments should consider this proposal seriously a change – not only for Umrakot, but also as a copy framework for the entire Sindh.
