LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has strongly said that the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team will not travel to India for the 2025 Women’s World Cup later this year, citing the previously established “Fusion Formula”.
Naqvi, who is also serving as the Home Minister of Pakistan, visited the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground on Saturday to congratulate the national women’s team on their unbeaten run at the ICC Women’s World Cup qualifier. Pakistan had just completed its perfect campaign against Bangladesh with a seven -wicket victory.
Naqvi told reporters on the ground, “Pakistan will not travel to India because the formula has already been agreed.” When questioned about potential neutral places for Pakistan’s World Cup matches, he indicated that the decision was on the host nation but emphasized that Pakistan’s position was stable against India’s journey.
