The United States is struggling to tackle the challenges of global power and reduction of development crisis at home. The global power, which is a function of economic and diplomatic powers and military power, is down to the United States. At the same time, it is trying to meet the worst economy, growing inequality, and deep -level challenges for poverty and food insecurity. The development sector of deteriorating skills and the differences of education further enhance the situation. It forced policy makers and state agents to consider ways to tackle these challenges and what to do.
The United States had two choices: resurrect development, invest in the development of education and skills, and give up globally to hedimonic umbrellas or accuse China of China and adopt a force and containment policy. Unfortunately, he chose another option and launched a new Cold War against China. He believed that if he could win the Cold War against the USSR, then why not against China? However, many people suspect this because of a number of factors.
First of all, China has cultivated an unprecedented spirit, determination and ability to protect its sovereignty and interests. For example, after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, the country faced many challenges. The United States and Western countries refused to recognize China and refused to seat the UN membership and its seat in the Security Council. The economy struggled, and China was behind in the indications of all economic and social development. China was a poor country, which increases more than 80 % of poverty and food insecurity.
On the other hand, in the 1960s, the USSR began to create problems for China and he wanted to follow the Soviet policies. Finally, the USSR encouraged the dispute with China. The situation became tense as two superpowers (USSR and the United States), the Western Block, and their allies were linked against China. Two neighboring countries (USSR and India) were also engaged in conflicts. To summarize, China was isolated and had limited opportunities to develop and modernize its industry and economy. Imagine a scenario: The situation will be alarming and can force anyone to compromise. However, China refused to give concessions or bow to anyone.
In this context, will China now compromise on its sovereignty and development interests? No, because modern China is strong and modern globally. China has graduated from poverty -free country in a poverty -free country. Once aid recipient, rapidly becoming a well -known donor. It has set up many global aid and development programs, such as the South South Cooperation Fund, the Kunming Bio Divisional Fund, the Global Development Aviation (GDI), etc.
Second, China is deeply connected to the global system. China is the largest trader, with a trading volume of 6.1 trillion US dollars and 150 trade partner countries. It is noteworthy that after President Trump started the tariff war, China’s trade rose from 4 trillion US dollars to 6.1 trillion US dollars to 6.1 trillion US dollars. The CII has transformed China into a lucrative market for innovators and has vowed to open China’s own market and further integrate the global system. The BRI is the biggest investment and contact with 153 members. It is bringing benefits to everyone, regardless of their membership with the BRI. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, with 110 members, offers a model of the non -political and non -Western financial institute.
Moreover, China is about 30 % of global growth and 31.6 % of global production. As a result, any attempt to separate China from the global economic system would be a step towards mobilizing recession worldwide.
Second, tactics, such as the ideology, democracy or rule, cannot be applied to China. Why? In China, a well -working democracy, the whole process, along with the democracy of the people, has been displayed on a public -based governance system that prefers people and general prosperity in all policies. The decision -making CPC is extremely involved. The CPC uses a scientific approach to decision -making and implementation, which leads to the principle of acquisition of truth by facts. As a result, China has become the only poverty -free country in the world, and the quality of life is constantly improving.
Moreover, there is no ideological error. The Chinese leadership has permanently demonstrated this theory to learn, promote and move the next generation. However, under the leadership of President XI, ideological work has gained great importance. He makes himself available to communicate with young people and give birth to the spirit of socialist ideology, which is also taught at the school level. In this way, these tactics will not be effective in China.
Finally, the commitment to protect the Chinese leadership and the sovereignty and development interests of the people has been strengthened over time. China is determined to protect its sovereignty and interests. President Xi Jinping believes that China should be stronger and should not entertain inappropriate requests or will not give concessions, regardless of the circumstances. “History has repeatedly proved that struggle for security through struggle brings real security, while via weakness and exemption eventually leads to insecurity,” he said. In this way, China will not suffer pressure or threats. China has learned from the past that privileges and compromises, unless legitimate and genuine, ultimately lead to disgrace and humiliation, like a century of humiliation.
The aforementioned debate shows that China’s containment is impossible, yet the United States insists on it. The analysis indicates that this behavior arises for two possible reasons: a lack of understanding of US policy makers about China (reference to VPJD Venus about farmers’ understanding of diplomatic language and lack of childish statements) or dissatisfaction with their own problems. Once the US administration has failed to admit that the declining economy and the status of world power are not the result of China’s rise.
This fall is from America’s economic rationality and hedimonic aspirations, not from the rise of China, which has been ignored by the other administration. China’s rise and superiority are attributed to its high supply chains, access to raw materials, production capacity, innovation and technology development strength, large market size, contact, trade expansion, mutual respect, and more. The roots of these benefits are the wise and practical policies, a strong pond of STEM graduates, auxiliary for innovation, R&D infrastructure, a winning cooperation formula, and public -based democracy and governance.
The question is, can the United States turn this process and achieve the glory of the past? In a short to medium run, it seems difficult, if not impossible, because the United States lacks people -based democracy, effective governance, infrastructure, and services to support industry and investment, which are essential to divert the fate of the country.
In this way, China’s containment policy will not result and it is not a viable solution. Such measures will only negatively impact the US economy’s profits sectors, such as the services sector and companies operating in China (2024, US companies earn $ 490 billion). The solution is to try to solve the problems by setting up a contribution. Therefore, the United States must abandon China’s containment policy and establish a contribution to winning the principles of humanity, respect for diversity, and the protection of human beings and adhering to the rights of a prosperous and peaceful world.
Finally, the United States should understand that power can win wars but not peace and prosperity. Development has the key to winning and maintaining peace and prosperity, and development depends on economic rationality and cooperation, not confrontation or wars.
