iiojk problem
The spokesman said that Pakistan was afraid of the growing frequency of unnecessary claims of Indian leadership about Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that it was India that had taken Jammu and Kashmir to the United Nations in 1948, so it had no right to accuse the Security Council and its former members for the resolutions that were later approved.
“The repetition of baseless claims cannot deny the fact that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory whose final status is determined by its people unconditional voting, as has been set in the UN Security Council resolutions.
Khan said that peaceful settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute was essential for sustainable peace in South Asia, according to the UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Repeating Pakistan’s constructive engagement and the consequences of dialogue to resolve all the residual issues, including the basic dispute of Jammu and Kashmir, he said that peace and stability in South Asia has been taken hostage for India’s strict approach and blasphemous ambitions.
He remarked, “The anti -Pakistan story, which comes out of India, mobilizes the bilateral environment and prevents the possibility of peace and cooperation. It should be stopped.”
