KARACHI: After the complaints of the builders and developers’ association in connection with the seizure and encroachment, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has directed the chairperson of the Bilawal Bhutto-Housardari for ABAD members, builders and developers.
According to an Abad statement issued on Tuesday, the relief is being provided by an steering committee formed by the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah. In the first phase, 14 of the 22 cases filed by Abdul against land encroachment and land occupied mafia were thoroughly investigated. Anti -corruption inquiries were ordered in two cases, five cases were resolved and instructions were issued to the relevant departments related to the remaining cases.
Abdul Chairperson Mohammad Hassan Bakhshi expressed his gratitude to Bilawal and Sindh government, expressing that the move has restored business confidence. He called on the government to further strengthen the campaign against mafia and illegal encroachments.
According to details, on January 29, Bilawal addressed the entire Sindh traders and directed the Sindh Chief Minister to resolve the issues facing the business community. Following this directive, the Chief Minister constituted a steering committee, chaired by Provincial Home Minister Ziaal Hassan Linjar to oversee the ground grip and encroachment.
The committee held its first meeting under the chairmanship of Minister Zaul Hassan Langar, with Sindh Home Secretary, Sindh Police Inspector General, Anti -Corruption Chairperson, Inspector General of Sindh Police, along with Sandh Police Inspector General, Senior Minister, Senior Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister, Home Minister Karachi Chamber of Commerce, and other trade organizations.
During the meeting, Abdul’s Syed Afzal Hameed told the committee about the illegal occupation of Abdul members’ land, mainly in the districts of East, West, Malir and Kamari. In response, Minister Lanjar constituted a sub -committee headed by the Karachi Commissioner and directed him to submit a comprehensive report within 15 days on Abdul’s complaints, legal obstacles and necessary measures.
In the second meeting of the steering committee, the Karachi Commissioner has reported that seven complaints have been resolved after a thorough investigation. In other cases, further inquiries are underway. Minister Lanjar ordered the suspension of Gulshan-e-Mumar’s SHO to facilitate the land-occupied mafia and transferred the Anti-Encroachment Revenue Department Police (Western) and launched an investigation against them.
The Home Minister emphasized that although it is not possible to resolve the old issues immediately, some legal complications will be focused to ensure their resolution. Going forward, any new cases of illegal occupation will be cleared within 24 hours after confirming the necessary legal documents.
Abdul Chairperson welcomed the progress, thanked PPP Chairman Balawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh government, and demanded a stronger anti -crowned drive campaign. He called on the government to accelerate measures against land -occupied mafia and ensure a conducive environment for ongoing development projects. He expressed the hope that Sindh government and law enforcement agencies will continue to strengthen the move to promote legal business activities and restore investors’ confidence in Karachi and Sindh.
