Brussels: Wolodmemeer Zillsky on Thursday thanked EU leaders for standing with Ukraine, as the block talks about the crisis over US President Donald Trump’s axis from Kiev and his translatable partners.
For the first time, all 27 EU leaders have been gathered for the first time since last week’s explosive meeting between Trump and Zilnski at Thursday. Since then, Washington has suspended military aid and intelligence sharing, which has helped Qi fight Russia’s invasion.
“We are very grateful that we are not alone. And these are not just words,” the president of the Ukraine told reporters that the European Union chief Arsola Van Deer Leene and Antonio Costa, while launching the talks.
With doubt, with doubts with US long -term commitment to Europe’s security, the block is under pressure to increase this moment. This week earlier, the next German leader promised a historic U -turn about defense.
“This is a water shedding moment for Europe,” said Van Der Leene, which has to mobilize 800 billion euros for “Europe again” faced by Russia.
The head of the commission told reporters, “Europe is facing a clear and current threat, and that is why Europe will have to be able to protect itself.”
“This is also a water shedding moment for Ukraine,” he added. “We have to keep Ukraine in a position to protect ourselves and for lasting and just for peace.”
Leaders are expected to give a green light to the commission’s defense projects on Thursday, which is largely based on independent states to spend a lot of spending.
In a Sambari national address at the summit, French President Emmanuel Macron called for an increase in defense spending to counter the “new era”, saying he would discuss expanding France’s nuclear barrier to European partners.
“Who can believe that today’s Russia will stop in Ukraine?” Macron asked. “I want to believe that America will be with us, but we have to be prepared to do so.”
The German Chancellor, waiting for the Frederick Mirz, who was awarded the European Union chiefs in Brussels before the talks, has declared himself ready for the “worst situation” and accepted radical reforms to increase German defense spending.
‘Alliance of Alliance’
Zlinsky’s visit to Brussels came when he entered Washington to re-change Washington after the White House’s shock-Trump’s “strong leadership” announces to develop itself to work towards a peace deal and finalize US access to Ukrainian mineral resources.
But Germany’s outgoing leader Olaf Schools reiterated European warnings against any “fixed peace” in Ukraine. He said that the future settlement would guarantee Kiev’s “sovereignty and freedom”.
Trump’s Russian President Vladimir Putin has a three-year war to end the three-year war-KIF and his European partners have thrown Europe in a crisis manner because he considers the possibility of further expulsion in support of US security.
It has also helped the UK back into the European fold five years after leaving the European Union. Now Prime Minister Career is working with Macron to rebuild the bridges between Trump and Zilinski.
The star and other European leaders protested in London’s weekend talks to embrace Zilnski, which brought NATO secretary general and European union partners such as Turkey. The head of the European Union will brief the British leader on Brussels Talks on Friday.
France and Britain have set up a month’s wars “in the air, sea and energy infrastructure” and are seeking “unity” to help secure future ceasefire. Turkey on Thursday indicated that it could participate in peace efforts.
Leaders in Brussels have to start throwing more extensively that the “security guarantee” can be provided for a peace deal with this block. This could include the deployment of European troops, which could support several states, but Russia reiterated Thursday that it would not accept.
But although Zilnsky can expect strong signs of support, the meeting is unlikely to receive new new announcements for more than 30 billion euros ($ 32 billion) that have already pledged a pledge for this year.
Many states say that Europe currently has enough money to meet KIF’s needs.
