ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Railways on Tuesday informed the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the Railways that the district governments and security forces did not cooperate with the Railway Officers/Officers during the anti -anti -anti -anti -government works and that the railway lands were related to the railway ministry.

He asked about filling 500 posts in the Pakistan Railway Police and expressed satisfaction over the statement of the Inspector General (IG) Railway Police that it would be recruited on merit and according to the provincial quota, women’s quota and minority quota.
The committee sought a report on the completion of the recruitment process.
He also recommended the secretary, the Ministry of Railways, to extend the salaries/grades/grades/grades/grades of the salaries of constables, head constables and assistant sub -inspectors to 7, 9 and 11, respectively, so that they could be made equal to the ranks of the provincial police forces.
In the backdrop of the current security environment in which the railway was operating, the committee further recommended the IG Railway Police to ensure the foolproof security of passengers, trains and railway infrastructure.
The committee advised that a briefing should be given on the details of the projects by the IG Railway Police so that the next budget should be approved/approved as the safety and safety of the passengers was the top priority of the committee.
