KARACHI: Details of the murder case of Mustafa Amir have surfaced in an investigative report, and are highlighting the horrific atrocities committed against the victim.
The report, obtained by Geo News, describes how prime prime suspect Armaghan Qureshi allegedly tied Mustafa’s hands and feet, dragging him down the stairs from the first floor of his residence and taking him to the hub of his car, where he was set on fire.

The suspect, along with Shari’a, threw the victim’s mobile phone and other goods while traveling.
After setting the vehicle on fire, they both left for Karachi on foot and even stopped at a hotel for breakfast when the owner left Armagne in the possession of a weapon.
After two to three hours, the two were dropped by several vehicles and eventually reached Karachi.
In addition, when Mustafa’s mother was confronted, both Armaghan and Shiraz went to Islamabad and returned to Karachi three days before the police raid – using one of the former vehicles in the federal capital.
Criminal record

A case related to a police encounter and a murder case has been registered in the AVCC police station along with a case related to the alleged possession of illegal weapons.

Judicial sources say a record of registered cases against the accused will be presented to the court on March 15.
‘Pressure to confess”
Separately, during the hearing of Mustafa’s murder case, Shiraz, a friend of Armagn and also a suspect, claimed that he was being pressured to admit.
“I have been told that if I confess, I get less punishment,” Shiraz said, saying that he was a witness to the eye of Mustafa’s murder and that Armagne killed him in front of him.
“I couldn’t do anything,” he added.
