KARACHI: Pakistani runners made their identity in Tokyo Marathon in 2025, Bilal Ehsan and Kokab Sarwar led the responsibility as the fastest male and female participants from the country in the international event.

Another athlete and six -star Finasher based in Karachi, Faisal Shafi, completed the race at 3:41:24, while Yawar Siddiqui, based in Islamabad, ended in 3:48:45.
It is noteworthy that Faisal was running the Tokyo marathon for the second time and this time it was aimed at raising funds for the Special Olympics Pakistan.
Among the other Pakistani women, a Pakistani British runner, Mahin Sheikh ended in 4:01:27, while a Pakistani Naurwigin, Khola Ahmed, crossed the line at 4:04:31. Pakistani American Yusra Bokhari completed the marathon at 5:12:23.
The program also marked a milestone for the Pakistani American runner, Saad Usmani, who, after completing his sixth World Marathon Major at 6:12:34, won the six -star final.
The Tokyo Marathon was dominated by Elite International Athletes on 2025, which set a high standard for the global running community. Ethiopia’s Teds Tickel won the men’s race with the time of 2:03:23, followed by Committee Derissa Galta at 2:03:51 and Kenya’s Vincent Capekimoi 2:04:00 pm.
In the women’s category, Ethiopia’s Sutom Asibi Cabed claimed victory in 2: 16:31, Kenya’s Winfarda Mora Moseti finished second at 2:16:56 and the Hoi Fiza of Ethiopia secured third position with 2:17:00 pm.
