KARACHI: Another Anti -Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday approved a five -day extension to the physical remand of the main accused Irmagan Qureshi in the abduction and murder of Mustafa Amir, as well as another suspect Shiraz Bukhari.
This is the second extension-the first was awarded on February 22-the first four-day physical remand of Ramgan was allowed on February 18.
The case belongs to the kidnapping and murder of Mustafa, a BBA student, who went missing on January 6.
Earlier this month, during a raid at his residence at DHA in Karachi, Armaghan fired a special unit of Karachi police responsible for dealing with murder and extortion cases, which was a special unit of Karachi police.

However, the court declared these claims unrealistic. The judge remarked, “If a person is not allowed to go to the washroom for 10 days, no one can stand.”
Defense further demanded a notification before recording statements and demanded medical examination of the suspect. Prosecutors confronted that the case had caused nationwide anger, and that the suspect was being investigated for possible links to money laundering and drug trafficking.
In addition, the Investigation Officer (IO) informed the court that a police have given a joint investigation team (JIT) in connection with a lot of talks with the leading investigation body of the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Makadas Haider.
After consideration, the court allowed Armaghan’s parents to meet him, but warned that any defect should be reported immediately during the meeting.
The court also ordered a medical examination of the suspect while extending the remand of Arghan and co -accused Shiraz for five more days.
In addition, Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ghulam Nabi Memon, Additional IG Karachi Police Javed Alam Odho, CIADIG, AVCCSSP, and SIUSP have been summoned to the Chief Minister’s House.

Digital currency
Meanwhile, details about Armaghan’s illegal activities have been revealed through which merchant accounts are revealed.
According to investigations sources, the accounts were used to transfer the money through fraud and scams.
Sources added that Irmagan used the money to convert the amount through the scam into a digital currency and has turned millions of dollars into digital currency since 2017.
The amount obtained by counterfeiting was transferred directly to the digital ATM, investigating sources said it was impossible to obtain evidence of the amount converted into digital currency.
The suspect – who closed all his accounts – made various virtual cards using digital currency, which may be used to withdraw money from ATMs.
