ISLAMABAD: The opposition parties of the country are holding a grand alliance conference against a grand alliance in Islamabad, which has said that it has become a “swamp of instability”.
The development took place when opposition leaders announced the event with the event after an emergency riot in the residence of Tahir Tahfaz Constitution of Pakistan (TTAP) Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
The meeting was attended by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, Sunni Attaad Council (SIC) Chief Sahib Zada Hameed Raza, Shahid Khakan Abbasi of Pakistan, Majlis Esit-Malemine (Mahbah).
“We will keep these illicit rulers accountable in every street. We do not accept this illegal assembly,” Achakzai expressed his lack of trust in the legislature.
The exchange of opposition parties is now against the backdrop of a state -of -the -art talks between the PTI and the ruling coalition, which has failed to produce many consequences despite several cycles.
Since then, the party-based party has engaged in a contact drive-which has begun in light of former PM’s directives-TTAP leaders have also visited Sindh to meet the Great Democratic Alliance (GDA), which has agreed to work on both sides and work on the country.
The two sides also agreed to form committees as the next step to work together to achieve a common agenda.
The statement issued by the opposition has emphasized the existence of severe crises, which in turn faces instability.
“Pakistan’s history testifies that over time, the country is suffering from severe crisis. Initially, we tried to lay the foundation of a developing, prosperous and democratic state, but conspiracies, interference of undemocratic forces, weak political system, corruption and institutional conflicts, caused the country to break down.” “
Saying that the 2024 elections have raised questions about the democratic process, and has disrupted the mandate of the people, the statement added that the country is at a confluence where it has become impossible, and every passing day is increasing frustration and uncertainty among the people.
‘Right to rule in this country’
Addressing the forum, TTAP chief Achakzai emphasized the basic human desire to participate in the rule.
He said that the benefits of freedom have not reached the lower levels, which many citizens have lost their shares in the decision -making.
Achakzai expressed his concern that people in Pakistan were not made a stakeholder in governance. He regretted that demanding the rights of someone often led to baseless allegations.

He reminded that even when his father was in jail, he proudly continued the national anthem.
Considering his parliamentary journey, he mentioned that after taking the oath as MNA in 1993, he asked if this was merely a formal status. He added, “At that time the speaker assured me that it was not.”
Achakzai also criticized the February 8 elections, calling it an extraordinary violation of constitutional principles.
He emphasized: “We seek the right to rule in this country, and this right can only be achieved through the supremacy of the constitution.”
In addition, he emphasized the importance of remembering those whose sacrifices paved the way for political power.
He concluded, “Those who seek power through the sacrifices of the martyrs and the struggle of political workers should never be forgotten.”
‘To give up principles’
Meanwhile, addressing the conference, Abbasi of Om Pakistan said that today the government is so scared that there is not a conference to discuss the constitution.
Extending the symposium agenda, the former PM noted that it would focus on the rule of the constitution and the rule of law.
He further criticized him for imposing sanctions on the conference-Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-and Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar’s former party-Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Abbasi questioned why the authorities have failed to end political instability in the country. He remarked, “When political parties abandon their principles, nations cannot work.”
He condemned the introduction of the laws for the purpose of suppressing voices and expressed concern over the state of justice in the country. He added, “It is unfortunate that even talk is difficult.”
The politician warned that without respect for democracy and public opinion, the country would not be able to develop.
Suppress the media
On his behalf, Afzal Butt, president of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), said that all political parties pressed the voice of the media after coming to power.
He urged Achakzai to get an oath -taking statement from political leaders, making sure he repeated past mistakes.
Butt reminded that when journalists camped in protest against the law of the Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), both of them, Shahbaz Sharif and his ally Bilawal Bhutto, expressed solidarity with them.
“These rulers had earlier said that the PECA should not be approved, but once in power, they [passed the same]”He added.
He also criticized a former prime minister to declare the court’s decision as a foreign conspiracy against media sanctions on the convicted person.
Addressing the conference, senior journalist and anchor Asma Shirazi said that the opposition should also identify the people in their ranks who spread fake news.
He said that those responsible for spreading fake news work as a facilitator of Draconian laws, such as Paca Paca.
He stressed, “In the past, freedom of expression has never been suppressed, nor will it be in the future.”
Shirazi criticized the PECA for labeling the PECA, making the media the first priority to come to power.
