Environmental forces are continuing their efforts to overthrow the curse of terrorism in the country, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During 2024, at least 685 security forces personnel lost their lives in 444 terrorist attacks.
On January 30, at least 18 security personnel were martyred in Kalat district of Balochistan.
