During his recent visit to Islamabad, I met Imran Ahmed Siddique, a former Sindh national tennis player. It was nice to see them after a long time because when they lived in Karachi, they were quite active in regard to tennis activities.
I asked if he still has a tennis obsession, or is he just engaged in his business and other engagements.
I was surprised to hear that he was doing something big for tennis – running an academy for less privileged children in the country’s capital.
He told me in detail how he got support from the corporate sector for the move. I tell my readers how all this happened and what kind of support the academy is providing to less privileged tennis players.
Imran, who is also a reputable ITF tennis professional in the Pakistani tennis community, said that he launched the Sarsid Cheese Tennis Academy in collaboration with Cheezious Pakistan.
Fahim Ashraf of Cheesees and Ahmed Masood, chairman of the Sarsid Memorial Society, acknowledged the need for international standard tennis court and its facilities, thus imagined an academy where talented young people could receive advanced training.
“In addition, with his extensive training of tennis in the United States and his leadership in advancing tennis in Karachi, the scene Riyadh, who is leading this fitness -based CSR program, introduces Imran Siddique to Pakistani tennis talent. Globally brought along with a simple purpose.
He added that the purpose of the academy is to provide a platform to young, newcomers to newcomers, to train them through qualified coaches to ensure that Pakistan’s tennis talent reaches its full potential. Co
The academy is located on a dedicated tennis court in Islamabad. The Sirsaid organization generously provided land for the tennis court and Cheezious provided funds for its construction, ensuring the latest facilities for emerging tennis players.
“Sir Syed Celebis Tennis Academy examples of the community’s commitment to improve and join the community. This move ensures that children with talented but limited financial resources have access to high quality training facilities and coaching, The best way to improve children’s tennis is to be allowed to play in tennis tournaments, “Imran argued.
Imran said that the academy allows organizations to hold events and tournaments in their Clay Courts as these events not only provide a great platform for the expression of talent but also play an important role in the sustainability of the academy.
Imran said, “By using the Academy’s courts for their events, organizations can actively help promote their brand and act associated with the community in the development of tennis in Pakistan.”
Currently, the Academy trains 34 young players, of which 22 are from Islamabad and 12 from Peshawar. This move ensures that these children will have comprehensive support, including training, coaching, and access to high quality tennis devices.
For Peshawar students, who are often unable to travel to Islamabad due to school promises, the Academy increases its services by providing locally training and exercises.
Looking forward, the Academy has set a passionate target to expand its access. It aims to help 50 students from Peshawar and Islamabad, while also increasing their services in the Karachi area. These efforts will further strengthen the Academy’s mission to nurture young talent and make tennis accessible to all background children.
“Organizations and individuals interested in collaborating with Sir Syed Chemis Tennis Academy can contact the management team to organize events or tournaments. By hosting events in the Academy’s courts, organizations not only convenience operational sustainability I contribute to the Academy’s mission to nurture young talent, “Imran suggested.
This move is no more than just a tennis academy and is a movement to create hope, promote participation and create opportunities for Pakistan’s youth. With the incomplete support of Cheezious and the involvement of others, the Academy can continue to spread “things” happiness “far beyond dreams and developing champions that will be proud of the nation. Imran said that together we can turn this vision into a reality and ensure the bright future of Pakistan’s talented youth.
It was nice to see Imran playing his role in the game in which he has spent a large part of his life, and I hope that the move will someday produce a large reservoir of talent for the country. The pass can be another small or nervous. Backroot
