Shah Muhammad, Water Career
Haha Mohammad is a hidden personality, a bush or a water career-a term is made from the Persian word Behshit, which means paradise, heavenly abundance or other worldly. This name indicates a great profession embedded in the fabric of the South Asian community, which is related to Shah Muhammad – providing valuable water to the needy. It is said that the name was first given to the community to provide water to quench Muslim soldiers on the front of the war.
The water carrier is also known as Meshki, and its origin is from the Persian term Musk, which identifies the skin bag. This strange name is found in a bag of trapped goats in which it takes the liquid to maintain a muscle life. There is another historical alias for these aquatic carriers, there is an echo of a time when their service was essential for survival in the battlefield.
Shah Mohammed, who is a living statue of this ancient tradition, presents himself with an unconscious appearance, which is a gesture of gray that surrounds his beard. Its ancient white dress has died with his labor clothing and tears, and the fade has been erased in gray. The shalor has been fired to avoid any inadvertent spraying. Starting his daily routine, he fully pulls his musk with officially provided taps on the road, and transmits the water to a strong tank of steel on a handcap. On the way to the Fareres, Shah Muhammad has done a difficult task to supply water to the disbelievers of the buildings of the nearby apartments. At every designated point, he fills his musk with a tank, climbing the stairs to remove valuables in people’s homes waiting in waiting storage units. This hard working process continues throughout the day. By earning a daily income from Rs 600 to Rs 1,500, it rarely allows himself to have a day’s luxury.
Shah Muhammad’s journey in the circle of Bhushti was not traditional. In the car mechanic’s workshop, he had practically repaired a tire puncture a few years ago, he changed the water supply a few years ago due to insufficient of his former wages.
“Everyone needs water. I like to go to people’s homes and give them water, “he declares with a sense of pride. The inevitable companion, like a bad tire, is just a few months of service. –
Abdul Karim, Sleeper Seller
Abdul Karim is a man who has a strong belief, and cameras even strongly hatred. The purpose of the spot One is its direction and the Selper seller has disappeared faster than your “cheese”. This is not ashamed; though; It is his steadfast belief that doing photography does not in accordance with his faith. But his retreat do not let you be fooled, because his stall, a carnival, a carnival of shiny chapels, ensures that he is nothing but less important.
The cream combination is a riot of red and gold, which is decorated with Ravinstens, pearls and cucumbers that can make Bollywood an embarrassing interpretation. “Latif” is not in his words. This person himself, the Government School for Boys (Matriculation Pass, thank you a lot), has been running this chapel stall for 35 years – as long as some of his chapels are shining.
Its family belongs to the Kodnal in Gujarat. It is an area known for its wonderful crafts, from embroidery textile to amazing jewelry. It is easy to see how the cream’s billing -out chapels channel a bit of raw flair, even if their cucumbers are more “local charming” than the “museum piece”.
Karim proudly announced, “My chapel is Rs 100 to Rs 500 to Rs 500.” His client? Like its goods, electoral mixtures – a stable series of villagers of Khatti, Badin and Balochistan as well as Lyari locals. Clearly, the taste is no account.
Despite the glamor of its luggage, the operation of the cream is not decisive. Its stall is a masterpiece of street levels: Wooden planks are balanced on piles of cardboard boxes, which flows from the slippers. Rent? No one Greeting This is a team attempt. Stall owners pitch a sectarian chowkar at 100 rupees a day, which Karachi Knight protects treasures under the sky.
The cream supply chain is equally polite. On his rare day of leave, he stored Korangi, Lalikhat, Lime Bhatti and wholesale centers in the Renchor Line. The rest of the week? This is all stirring from 8.00am to 7.00pm, which is enough to sell for your family.
The sleeper is a masterpiece where he is counted, brings home -filled lunch. But he is involved in other luxuries – that is, the endless cups of tea, pan and gutka, when they hawks their bed zilled goods and puts it on it. Abdul Karim can live a modest life, but his chapel, and his dedication, shines bright than any rustone.
