LAHORE: The Punjab government, on the direction of the Chief Minister of Punjab, has initiated action across the province to arrest the dangerous criminals. The move includes giving prizes on 130 wanted individuals, which indicates an unprecedented commitment to counter serious crimes.
On the direction of the Chief Minister Punjab, the head amount for the robbers in the Kachch river areas has been placed in three categories: Rs 10 million, Rs 50 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. The move was regularly given regular shape at a high -level meeting of the provincial prize committee in the Punjab Home Department chaired by Provincial Law Minister Malik Sahib Ahmed Birth. The Investigation Wing, the Anti -Terrorism Department (CTD) and the top officials of the Treasury Department were present to discuss the crime rating and distribution of prize money. Advertising criminals are wanted in terrorism, target killings, sectarian violence, bombing and transport, facilitating terrorist operations, kidnapping for ransom and other serious crimes. Of the 130 advertising criminals, 101 are listed in the blackbook of the Investigation Wing, while 29 are part of the Red Book of the CTD. The committee also identified 13 new criminals included in the Red Book and adjusted the prizes for 16 current criminals, which significantly increased their arrest stake. Key advertising criminals, Murid Hussain, whose prize was increased from Rs 200,000 to Rs 2.5 million on his role in target killings and Mohammad Safdar, whose amount was increased from Rs 500,000 to Rs 40 lakh. – Suicide attack facilitators, such as Saad Munir Dar and Mohammad Ijaz, have also seen their awards from Rs 200,000 to Rs 25 lakh. The structure takes into account the nature and severity of crime, ensuring aggressive pursuit of justice. Their rewards have increased dramatically to encourage the fugitives associated with the bombings and sectarian killings. District -based prizes were ranked to help in focused operations across Punjab. In the Sheikhupura range, Rs. 200,000 was allocated for three criminals. In the Gujranwala range, five criminals received a head money of Rs 200,000 each. A reward of Rs 20 lakh was fixed at the same fugitive in Mandi Bahauddin. In the Sargodha range, the awards were from Rs 300,000 to Rs 20 lakh. In the Multan range, prizes for several criminals were between Rs 200,000 and Rs 10 lakh. The allotments included dangerous criminals active in the notorious areas of Punjab, where some prizes for major criminals reached Rs 10 million. These officials reaffirmed their commitment to fully monitor joint efforts and arrests. The law minister announced that a monthly review of the arrest of advertising criminals would be taken to ensure a sustainable pace in achieving accountability and law and order goals. The prize of the bomb -related criminal Samiullah increased from Rs 200,000 to Rs 60 million. Hafiz Suleiman, who was involved in the bombing and firing on the church, was increased to Rs 4 million.
Other criminals belonging to sectarian and targeted violence, such as Imran Sattar and Abdul Rahman, received similar rewards. Addressing the press, Malik Sahib Ahmed Barti highlighted the Punjab government’s commitment to eliminate crimes and create a safe environment for the citizens. “These measures are historic. We are not leaving any effort to protect the lives and property of our people. Every effort will be made to ensure the protection of the people and punish those who disrupt peace.” The rewards will be distributed to the police teams and the citizens who will promote cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public, eventually promoting confidence and joint efforts to end criminal activities. The Punjab government is intensifying its efforts to capture the dangerous accused, with a significant step to protect public security and establish peace across the province with strict surveillance and a transparent distribution of prizes.
