Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah revealed the formation of the sub-committee after attending the meeting of the government negotiation team in his office today under the chairmanship of National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
“We will give the government’s answer to the opposition in the next meeting,” the prime minister’s aide told reporters in the lower house, adding that The sub-committee is examining the demands of the former ruling party.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui, spokesperson of the government negotiation committee, said that the participants of today’s meeting did not take a final decision on the formation of the Judicial Commission on the demand of Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
He said that all the representatives of the seven parties of the ruling coalition participated in the meeting in which PTI’s Charter of Demand was reviewed, but no opinion was formed on it.
“Today’s meeting was positive and comprehensive. […] Such meetings will continue,” he said, adding that another meeting was scheduled for Wednesday (yesterday) to consider the opposition party’s demands.
He reiterated that the government would give its reply to the former ruling party after the completion of seven working days.
